Karyne Pompilus is a former French and ESOL strategies teacher at MDCPS and Broward County Public Schools. She studied social-science and political science at Florida Atlantic University, earned a Master Degree in Business Administration from University of Phoenix and a certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Human Services Administration and Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Mrs. Pompilus is also a current doctorate candidate in these fields. She has recently received a Higher Education Professional Engagement Grant Award from Fischler School of Education and Human Services and a Leadership and Dedication Award from Bethlehem Church. Karyne and her husband Duke Louis have four young adults. Karyne Pompilus is the executive director for Actions for Better Future, Inc.
