Resident Commissioner
Mercedes J. Nunez is a resident commissioner and represents all Multi-Family and Section 8 residents. She attended NYU Prep School, Hunter College and State University of NY at Binghamton. Ms. Núñez has worked as a 911 communications operator for the Broward Sheriff’s Office and has been involved with the Muscular Dystrophy Association since 1978. She has recently been named an Hispanic Woman of Distinction by the Latina Style Magazine, the nation’s leading publication for Hispanic business women. She was reappointed by Governor Scott to the Board of Commissioners in July 29, 2014
